Johnny Ventura replaces Ryan as the leading male role in the third season. His first apperiance on the show is near the end of the second season in the episode "Wedding Bell Blues".
Johnny's father was a security guard, who got killed by a criminal using a cursed leather jacket that made him invisible. Johnny was so bereaved that he used the same cursed coin that had killed Micki to resurrect his father from the dead - but his father wasn't the same anymore...
Unfortunately, the character of Johnny couldn't be established as a satisfying replace for Ryan, the fans didn't accept him. The third season of Friday the 13th - The Series was the last one. In 1990, Paramount cancelled the show.
